Cardboard Engineers: Grades TK-2

Students design and build a new project every week using kid-safe ChompSaws, hot glue guns, and cardboard. Every project solves a real-world problem and each week introduces a new skill that builds on the last. The Engineering Design Process is used every class: Define, Plan, Build, Test, Improve.

Day: Wednesdays
Dates: 10/21, 10/28, 11/4, 11/18, 12/2, 12/9, 12/16
Note: No class will be held 11/11 or 11/25.
Time: 2:00 to 3:00pm
Cost: $262.50 for 7 weeks

What We Make

Week 1: Crown or Tiara — I need a crown for a special day that fits my head.
Week 2: Binoculars — I need something to help me explore the world outside.
Week 3: Wristband — I need a wearable for a special occasion.
Week 4: Animal Mask — I want to become my favorite animal.
Week 5: Boat — I need a boat that can float in water.
Week 6: Picture Frame — I need a frame to display my favorite drawing or photo.
Week 7: Rocket — I am going to space. I need a rocket.

Policies

Missed classes are non-refundable and cannot be made up. Full refunds are available if you cancel 10 or more days before the first class. After that, all fees are non-refundable. This program requires a minimum of 18 students to run. If enrollment is not met, the session will be cancelled and all fees fully refunded. Invite your friends!
